"Joy is an act of resistance" is a powerful phrase that was initially stated by the talented poet and educator, Toi Derricotte. A reminder that embracing and living with joy "is a defiant, political act against oppression, shame, and despair. It suggests that refusing to succumb to sorrow or erasure is a form of survival and strength". I hope this sweet quote and Daffodil are reminders for you to stay strong and to live with Joy.
