Sill - Inlagd - Pickled Herring

Abba Pickled herring is a really popular classic, with selected pieces of herring in a classic clear layer flavored with onion, carrot and allspice. In this herring jar, we use herring (Clupea harengus) of the highest quality, which only comes from viable stocks in the North East Atlantic (Norwegian Sea or North Sea). The herring is stored in our rock room in Kungshamn before we put it in with selected spices and flavorings so that you can find your favorite taste. Pickled herring is many people's favorite and it is not surprising to understand as it goes just as well on the Christmas table, the Easter buffet and the midsummer celebration as it does for a good lunch or dinner.

Ingredients: HERRING in chunks, onion (22%), sugar, carrot (4%), salt, vinegar, spices (black pepper, allspice), natural flavoring (contains cinnamon), acid (acetic acid), preservatives (sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate).
